Not Surprised, Just Disappointed

I really didn’t think much of Paul Ryan when he was the Republican VP candidate. The more I learn and the more I see of him, the less I think of him. He’s basically a “Trojan Horse” Democrat.

Now I see he’s saying that if Trump is elected and enforces his “promised” ban on Muslims entering the country, he’ll sue.

This just goes to show Ryan’s true colors. It’s all about staying in the news, making “brownie Points” with special interest groups. It’s all about staying in power regardless of what’s best for the country.

He can sue if he wants but the laws are already on the books that give the President this power, it’s called the McCarran-Walter Act also known as the Nationality Act of 1952. That’s right, this law has been on the books since 1952. And do you know which President used it last? Jimmy Carter…Yup, the far lefts answer to Ronald Regan. Also, interestingly enough, McCarran, lead author of the bill was also a Democrat.

Carter used it to not only ban Iranians from entering the US, he used it to deport Iranian students. Students were given 30 days to report and if there was anything wrong with , or their visas were expired, they were deported.

This is an excerpt from when Carter invoked the act:                                                             Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. This directive will be interpreted very strictly.

It’s just too bad Paul Ryan doesn’t stand up to Obama the way he threatens to stand up to Trump. He and all the other Republicans need to develop a real backbone and reign in His Royal Majesty King Barack before he finishes what he set out to do, destroy…er, uhh, I mean transform America.

The clock is ticking.
